List here good bases for about an 500-600 euro budget

    I am considering at buying a new bass with about an 500-600 euro or little over budget.( I think euro is about 1 dollar or little over) I Mostly play rock/ Hard rock, so ofcourse if you know bases good for that music style, its always plus. :p
    So just list here some good quality bases for that budget. Thanks a lot!

    €500-600 = $625-750. However, what is $x in the US doesn't necessarily mean its €(4/5x) - customs fees, shipping, list prices here and there, etc.

    Go and try some Ws. They are cheaper in Europe, and go well with rock. But be sure to try it to see if you can handle the weight and the neck profile.
    There are not many other European manufacturers with lower prices; as for decent-priced foreign-made basses, Yamahas are not bad basses.
    If you happen to find a good-sounding Fender in that price range, you might also think over that.
