its getting really annoying how no one has put out any tabs for Lives new album V. Could someone please try. I'd do it myself but my band is jamming hardcore and i dont have time to sit down and have a decent try.

Also does anyone no if the 'tallica boys have a new bass player yet. They're meant to b comin down to NZ sometime and they'll suck with only 3.
    if anyoneknows email me ThanxDivide

  3. It's gonna suck hard I think, which is sad. I have every Metallica album and don't think I'll be buying it.

I put up Live bass tabs (woe is me) at my site. I haven't found any for V yet. You know, sadly, the bass wasn't very prominent in this album, but beautiful, nonetheless, of course. I have, however, been working on some of the basslines myself. I don't make tabs though.

    Be well

Ok so you have the time to look up the tabs and play them but not the time to do it yourself?

I used to be the biggest Metallica fan ever. I bought every album, as it came out, without so much as hearing a single track off of it. I have pictures, posters, rare and out-of-print releases, records, CDs, tapes, banners, T-shirts, calendars, videos, pins, buttons, stickers, books and hats. The last studio album I bought was Garage, Inc. I feel like I was ripped off with Load, but I gave 'em another chance with Reload, still another chance with Garage Inc. and yet another chance with S&M. I think I have finally learned my lesson and I doubt that I will ever by another Metallica release as long as I live. I will hang on to what I have accumulated, but I have no real interest in acquiring anything new. :(

For what it's worth, they should have hung it up when Jason quit.

i agree aswell but i dont....if anyone know what i mean...id just like to see what this next album would be like...if it is good i think they should stay together because they have pulled off a big project under sever circumstances (-Jason, James Rehab, Napster). If it is a big sucess like Black then they are back in business, if not, hey they had fun over the 20 odd years they were together.

I mean, Slayer have been around longer than Metallica, so why dont they get all this hung on them? i mean they(Slayer) are 40ish, yet they still pump out good thrash tunes. OK so they dont have anything against napster and their leader singer isnt an alcholoic, but i think, if Metallica can make this a big hit, they deserve to be around longer..

    thats just my 2 cents....:D :D

I don't know if they've been around longer than Metallica or not, but I do know that they haven't "flip-flopped" musical tastes and styles like James and Co. have. They didn't get to the highest point of their career and then "turn their backs" on the fans that put them there. I think a lot of hard-core Metallica fans felt a lot like I did with the release of Load and Reload -- betrayed.
