I will be playing a summer concert in the park and then a small club stage in a few weeks and I need advice on my rig. I have not played my rig outside of my band rehersal space and have no idea if it will be enough for either event. I currently have an Ampeg PF350 paired with a Carvin 210 8ohm 250w at practice that keeps up two loud guitars and drummer at just past half volume and gain.I use either a PJ or MM passive bass. For live play I plan on adding my Ashdown M1 112 ohm 250w to the rig. The PF 350 runs 250w @ 8ohms and 350 at 4ohms. We play 70's - 2000's rock covers. Will this rig be adequate? My band mates seem to think this will be adequate. I was considering buying a 115 or 410 but dont really want to transport someting that size, hence the smaller lighter weight cabs I currently own. Appreciate any advice from more experienced players out there.

As long as that Ashdown is an 8ohm cab and you run both cabs in parallel you should be fine. The park gig should have big FOH so you only need your rig as your stage monitor.

With a proper PA, your amp is just a stage monitor. There's gonna be a proper PA, right?

It doesn't sound like you are gigging very often...

I would say: take both your cabs (as long as they are 8ohms each) and try it. If you find it to be inadequate for your usual gigs, buy something bigger...

This will be my first gig, I feel pretty confident my current rig will be ok for the stage just unsure of what the outdoor set will be like. The Ashdown cab is also 8 ohms so I'm fine there.

I see. Outdoor gigs are very different acoustically. One has to watch the levels indoors because there are reflections from the walls, ceiling and all sorts of boundary effects and so on. Those things are usually not a problem outdoors... As a result, one can play louder outdoors. But it is not neccessary to do so...:)
