Looking to trade a new loaded Fender Player Precision neck with maple fretboard for a Fender neck with a rosewood board. Interested in any 20 fret MIA/MIJ/MIM Fender neck as long as it doesn't have the "made in Mexico" stamped on the FRONT. Drives me nuts when they muddy up the front of the headstock with all that! I'd prefer a nut width of 1.625' or smaller. Willing to add cash depending on the neck.

I can provide more detailed pics if needed, but the thing is essentially brand new. I bought the bass new from Guitar Center yesterday knowing I would want to swap the neck for rosewood as Fender doesn't offer the Player series with this option.

It's a great feeling neck shape with the following specs:
synthetic bone nut - 1.625 width
    Medium Jumbo frets
    Modern C profile
Satin tinted finish on neck, Gloss tint on Headstock

Is this a one piece neck or separate neck/fingerboard?

Looks like the fingerboard is a separate piece to me, although there is a skunk stripe.

@Rikster, are those images of a bass neck you’d like to trade? Unfortunately I’m only looking for necks without the “made in Mexico” on the FRONT of the headstock. Back of the headstock is fine.

Most, if not all, with the MIM at the back of the neck aren't rosewood; they are Pau Ferro.

Yes, I know. Happy to trade for a MIJ or MIA + cash from me. There’s a few out there though. I think they switched the logos a few years before the pao ferro switch if I recall.

If anyone’s curious, I’ve seen other forums mention that 2011-2012 is when they moved the serial and MIM to the back, so that gives about a 5 year period before they moved totally to pao ferro.

@Chris Marinelli @Rikster said the second neck doesn’t have Made in Mexico "MIM" in front of the headstock. He mentioned it above. I don't know if you noticed it.
