Are you trying to hide the fact that you are sponsering a child in Brazil from your parents?:p

as far as I know, All calls, appear on the phone bill. Unless you call collect maybe, which is certainly the cheapest....for you...not the other party. :p

  3. calling cards? payphones? i dunno if calling cards appear.

Depends on how many minutes you want.

If you are serious about getting one, I would recommend getting one that you can recharge and that has a lot of minutes standard.

you could probably get enough minutes to say just about anything for 10-20 dollars. I haven't purchased a calling card in a long time, I don't know if the rates have changed much.

  12. I had my neighbor buy a phone card from Sam's Club for me, I think the card initially came with 1000 minutes for $30...I've recharged it once or twice since then. It's an 800 number, which wouldn't appear on a phone bill, and 3 cents a minute is a great deal...if you only wanna use it once though, a card with that many minutes would be a colossal waste.
