I use DR highbeams .45-.105 stainless steel. Sometimes they last a long time, sometimes they don't. I beat the hell out of my strings, but they tend to dies fast sometimes. Anyone have any tips/suggestions on strings to buy.

Also has anyone ever tried those really high gauge strings Michael Manring uses? I don't recall the gauge.
