.. i play with a pick and im pretty sure im doing it wrong.. i rest my lower palm on the E string when i strum and it sweats a lot and my E string doesnt last long because of this but thats the only way i know how to play. i noticed that flatwound strings look like its harder to get moisture in the string so would they last longer than other strings?
if not then what kind of strings do last longer
im sick of changing strings every few weeks.

    Try Elixers.

Theyre coated to block out sweat and oils.
