Went to the shop today just to check out what was new and BAM saw this bad boy on the rack and it just called to me! The Schecter Ultra Bass:

Plays AWESOME.....I havent had a chance to play it through my rig yet, but I played it at the store through an Orange head and it had a nice array of tones to choose from. The balance isnt perfect by any means, but it isnt too terrible. Plus I just love the finish on this guitar. I was totally surprised by the the playability of this thing. Only thing that I'm going to half to tweak is the pup height, but hey that takes like 2 minutes. Here's one more pic....

Yeah I was REALLY surprised to find it in white. Its not the most recent shipment because it has a different headstock (reverse) than the current models.

  4. I like it a lot. I'd love to get the tobacco burst one.

    Enjoy>>>>

For a second, I thought it reminded me of a Tbird.

    Hawt...

In due time I'll probably end up adjusting the electronics. But I've been playing around on it all afternoon and the acoustic sound on this thing is pretty righteous. Definately worth checking out if you've ever had the slightest inclination to do so.

  11. I'm kinda high on Schecters. They all seem to play well.

That thing looks great in white! Nice T-Bird vibe happening.

    Curious....what does it weigh?

  12. It looks sweet.

Not sure I dig the obvious t-bird influences, but whatever works for you :)

Havent made it to a scale yet....but its definately not light. Not the heaviest bass I've played, but if I were guessing, i'd say in the 11 lb range maybe?
