Someone can tell me what is that:
Looks like a humidifier for cigars...
A bass with a built in humidor - interesting! And appropriately enough, it's finished in tobacco sunburst...
hahaha, that's awesome. That's perfect for weddings!
I bought a bass from Keith a few years ago. I live
a couple of hours from his shop,so I took a tour. He has a side business making Humidors. I think he cut back on Humidors to concentrate on basses a little more. His wife is from Cuba too (i think)...go figure. He makes his Humidors from some very tastey woods. He also said he could make a lot more money making Humidors...but he just loves building basses. Loves classical music...smokes cigars..very nice guy.
this bass is "smokin'"!
this one of the most beautiful basses I´ve seen in a while... seriously!
I was at that store today to check up on my Roscoe(still hasn't come in yet,but it'll soon be here).Seth the bass sales person said that bass was on consignment for about...$4,000!!! Yup,that is correct. I must admit, the cigar bass is even more beautiful in person, but I sure don't have the 4 g's to spend on it.
I want a fretted Roscoe...
It is nice and all but I like the one made by Moon Guitars with the fold out ashtray and lighter holder.
