I found this on the Warmoth website and man have i got some severe GAS. I would build one right now but i have a Sadowsky on order, first thing is first.
That's alright. It would be better in blue, though! Yeah, I really want a bass with a quilt top in transparent blue. So yummy
That is definitely one sweeeeet looking Jazz! I just lucked into picking up Mike Dimin's MTD Heir, which is not terribly dissimilar in style. The FedEx guy should be visiting me on Friday... I can hardly wait...
I really, REALLY like the pearl. It matches the inlays. Also the nice thing about pickguards is that the can be changed reletively painlessly. That is a VERY sweet looking bass. I'm real impressed with the quality of the Jazz neck that I recently bought from Warmoth. It's a birdsye neck with the ziricote board that I'm having done up as a fretless. But I'm also really preturbed with Warmoth. I had selected a neck from their "Thift Shop" but was told that it was already sold. So I went with my second choice. I then went back to the site and found that the one that I really wanted was still available. This did not make me happy at all. I was going to call and let them know but just forgot about it. This was not cool.
Major M, That's a nice Warmoth. I particularly like the quilted top, block inlays, and the white pearloid pickguard.
The guy who own s the bass is a very lucky guy, the quilt is nice too, some times warmoth dosent have the nicest tops but this one is a looker.
Nino Dont the sadowsky 5 string necks have something very special about them, i have found them to be the most comfortable 5 string neck. I am counting down the weeks till i join the club.
