    Flame Koa, and it doesn't show up very well in the pics...groove, wait until you open the case! :D

    Bolivian rosewood, with some of the sap/heartwood in it as well, that's the lighter color.

    This thing is beautiful, not in a screaming "look at me" kind of way, but in a subtle "I wanna grow old looking at her" kind of way.

    That one's PURTY!! Is that the same piece used for the fingerboard as well as the headstock overlay?

    No the lighting makes it look that way. It's a Koa overlay on the headstock.

    That's a really hot bass, one of the nicest pieces of Koa I've seen.

    shouldve splurged for overnight!! i know I dont have the patience- its overnight for - i just assume it into the price of a bass!! ( when i buy for me):D

    Adrian, I know what you mean. I was able to get the bass shipped a week earlier than planned though. At least I'll feel better tomorrow when I get the tracking number and can check up on her. Busy gig weekend this week so she'll get a good workout. :bassist:

    onne of the deepest pains and anguish i have ever felt is waititng for a bass to arrive- i could probably buy a whol e new bass with the money ive spent overnighting! i have always said i was an instant gratification kinda guy!
