I just noticed this piece has now appeared on the Low End's website - its Heath The Great's Bahama (puke) Green Kubicki

Just imagine the lucky TB'er who would own one of the most pimped piece of equipment in TB history!

Now, where did I put that peeing monkey smilie.

  2. I have never been a Kubicki fan, but i would buy this for some good firewood... just out of spite

Sure is. He finally got rid of it for a KSD worth about a third the value of that thing. Good thing it actually looks nice.

    I don't get it.

What's the whole "legacy" behind this bass?

That's understandable, you only joined this year.

Heath_the_Great has been the resident "Kudicki pwns your bass" guy... and that ugly bass is his bass.

Wasn't it also reputed to have been owned/played by Stu Hamm himself??

(Cool!! Got my comment in before the eventual closure!! :D)

Let me put it this way: he managed to talk about it and post its pic in a thread about neck through, singlecut, buckeye burl top basses.

Among many, many, many other instances.

Did I sell him that bass, or is that a different Puke, er, I mean Seafoam Factor?

WAS his bass. I think I may take a swing by the Low End and check this thing out. It is handy to live only 2 miles from Brian Barrett.

Spandex pants and hairspray not included apparently. :(

:D Actually, back in the day I liked Kubickis. I played one at a store once and it was awesome. Nowadays though... not my thing. Especially this... green thing.

Ahahahahaha :D I'd love to find out what was said during the deal...

  17.

it was stuart hamms, used on tour with joe satriani and mick jagger..the pickups are joe bardens, which sometimes appear in custom shop fenders

dont worry, you'll see me with another kubicki one day...just may be a custom jazz bass :smug:

  18. Um...I actually like that bass a lot...is there something wrong with me? looks like great awesomeness and I bet it gets nice sound.
