So remember the thread I started, asking about Corvettes? Well, look what I got! :D  1985, in very sweet condition. I guess my mid-life crisis has begun.

Hey PacMan nice score! I'm not tooo big on the 80s 'vettes though. Since I now have a chance to show mine off, here goes:

Also, we just got this 1968 Camaro for a project car, have a look:

We're all about GM cars here hehe. Two Firebirds ('86 bird and '88 Trans Am - both mine) two Camaros ('68 and '95 - neither mine :p) and the 'Vette ('96 - also mine).

Sweet score though man... I can't wait to get my C5 and C6s! Someday hehe.

My ladyfriend would kill if she knew you had a '68 Camaro in that color. That's the car of her dreams.

Yup, and when we get to the repainting stage we're going to keep it that color. So imagine it a lot shinier and cleaner. We're figuring that we'll be done with it in about a year, though it might take longer when I'm gone for college :p. I'm sure you'll see the thread once it's done.

Edit: by the way, the engine in the Camaro has at least 340HP and 325ft-lbs of torque... which is more than both 'vettes in this thread. It was dyno'd in '86 and it had 320HP and 310ft.-lbs. then a crane cam was added... and we're adding ceramic coated headers and a flowmaster full system on it... *grin*

Just a built up chevy small block 350. I'm not sure *which* model tranny is in it right now... it's a 3 speed natural H out of a '67 Nova, I believe.

    And I just realized I'm an idiot cos mine's got 335ft-lbs. If only I had an LT4 then I'd have +30HP and +5TQ :p. Like it'd make a diff...

Edit: Pacman, you need to get om AIM so we can chat garage. And also, we have a Ford Explorer and F-350 PSD here as well.

Edit2: Pacman, does yours have Fuel Injection? The '85s were the first ones to offer that as an option since the '65s rolled off.
