    Hi Russ,
There are several on ebay right now. If you don't want to mess with the auction thing, try bassgear.com classifieds or harmonycentral.com classifieds, although very commonly the same guys are advertising on both. If you don't wish to go private party, then check basscentral.com, bassnw.com, basspalace.com, or gbase.com. You will find mint Stingrays in the $800 range private party, and in the $1000-$1200 range with a dealer. Good luck with your search, and let us know what you come up with.

I just thought that i would say, good places to buy basses are MusiciansFriend.com. Also, i'm moving this to the basses forum.

I would say that basscentral.com is going to be one of your best bets on this one if you don't feel like going the auction/classified route. I just bought a brand new Spector NS5CRFM from them, and they're very easy to deal with. Their prices are also pretty darn good. One of the upshots to dealing with them on a Stingray is that they seem to have a good stock all of the time.

Another great online bass option is Bass Northwest www.bassnw.com.

  7. Hi Russ. Like me, you are one of the unfortunates stuck in the UK, with no access to Musicians Friend stuff. Here are some links:
