The title says it all :D

    ---------------------------
    EDIT:
Been looking around and some promising units are:
    - Boss MT-2 Metal Zone (or Behringer copy, UM-100): Has low/high and shiftable mid
    - Digitech DF-7 Distortion Factory: Same as above + 7 different models

The only reasons I don't really lean towards the Digitech is the great power consumption of their stuff, and the fact that I would probably only use one of the model, ever.

The only question I have about the MT-2 is: can you increase the dist if you send a really hot signal to it (say, the equivalent to an active bass over a passive one)?

The MT-2 sounds nothing like a fuzz. I don't think you will want more than what comes out of it either.
The highest the input signal the more distortion you get.
That's why you have a gain/drive knob to adjust it.

Not exactly what you described, but what about an EH Graphic Fuzz?

I'm sorta looking for somthing a little smaller, though I may just get another English Muff'n (and, yes, I'm well aware that the EM runs on 12VAC ;) )...

Oh and Jazz Ad: looks cool, do you have a site link???

After listening to a sample done be Magical Max, and the samples on the Boss website, I've decided that the MT-2 will be perfect for what I want. I guess when I think of fuzz, I'm really thinking of really heavy distortion  :bag:

Sorry for the confusion, though I must say, both the bat-fuzz and metal muff look extreamly interesting!

  10. buy the muff! :D I think you'd be the first to own one on here
