Looking for a clear thumb rest for my Precision

    I recently bought an American Vintage '62 P-bass and am looking for a clear thumb rest. I remember seeing a guy somewhere who sold clear rests that attach to the top edge of the pickguard using the original screw holes on the pickguard. It was almost invisible. Great idea! Anyone know about these? Thanks, ~R~

    Just go to Tap Plastics or any plastic shop and have them cut one for you. You can choose colors, Getty just the size yo want, etc.

    JohnK makes a pretty sweet plexi thumbrest IIRC.
