Looking for a flexible and low action string for drop tune with brightness.

  1. As it says in the title. Hahaha. I'm after trying DR sunbeams recently. And while I did like the sound of them at first, I wasn't too keen on them after a while(though they were much better than D'addarios for feel alone). The feel of DR sunbeams would be what I am after. Sooooooooo easy to play, flexible and smooth feel.

What would you guys recommend? It has to hold drop tunings well. (as I play in D standard), while still retaining high and low end(with a mid punch so to speak, bright). It has to be good for bends(round wound over hex), and preferably have a long life. Any of the coated string have this quality?

Nickel LoRiders might be right up your alley. They are brighter than Sunbeams, and are higher tension so they can be tuned down better. They have that same smooth feel.
