    Hi,

I am getting a new Modulus in the Summer, but I might take a little detour and buy a cheap fretless just to have for some Jaco stuff. Anything is good.

    Thanks

I would say go with the Squier VM as I own one and can say that it pulls off that jaco tone very well with a set of rounds on it. It seems that it was designed for the role. Great Value.

I currently play mine with the dullest flats ever...and it still sounds good
