Looking for a good first amp for first rig

Hello, Ive been looking at the Markbass Little Mark III, the Ampeg Portaflex 500 is stupid cheap at the moment, the Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 is a couple hundred bucks more than I want to spend but Ive heard good things. I don't have much experience with amps and cabs, well, pretty much none. I don't have a cab yet but am looking in to getting one soon, will probably not spend more than 1200 smackaroos all together on the rig, any suggestions on anything? Don't mind cap suggestions either. I play in a three piece, use a simple pedal setup, and play a fretless Stingray mostly, and Fenders at the moment if that helps. Thank you.
