Looking for a good, small travel amp

    Hi guys,

So I just got my hands on a new Fender Jazz Bass (super stoked). Unfortunately, my amps are in Texas where I go to school, and I'm studying abroad in Europe for the next few months. I'm bringing my bass, but I'm but sure what to do about an amp. Does anyone have any recommendations for cheap (<$60 preferably), light, small amps that I could toss in a duffle bag and bring over?

    Much appreciated

Wait until you get to wherever you are going and look for a used amp. Voltage differences, i.e., 120 vs 230, or whatever your local flavor is may make looking for a Local amp a better choice.

    Thanks

  3. Or maybe rent an amp when you get there. At any rate, I wouldn't acquire until in Europe.

How about headphones and vox battery amp? That's what I use when I travel. Headphones are handy on the plane also.
