Looking for a new instructor (Help!)

Discussion in 'General Instruction [BG]' started by eljuapo, May 21, 2003.

  1. So, I'm going to guess this is the board to place this in. If not right, maybe the mods could move it?

    Anyway, on to the question.

I've been looking for a new bass instructor for a little while now and I thought you all could help me out.

Now, I live in orange county, CA (fountain valley). So, no matter how great of an instrutor you are, the comute to New Jersey would kill me on gas. If anyone knows of a great instructor, someone maybe you've had a good experience with that is in this area, could you point me in the right direction?
I'm kinda looking for someone who leans toward jazz and blues, technique, and pushes his or her students.
I've been playing for less than a year and I think I need direction.

    I'd appreciate any help here.

  2. have you checked to see who's available at besslessons.com? I think activebass also has a list of teachers. I hope that was some help,

    from the lows,
