Looking for a specific bass effect

    I've been listening to Johnny Truant for a while and one song in particular, Dirty Vampire Feeding Frenzy (hehehe), features a bass solo with a very ominous/eery effect.

    I know there is reverb somewhere in there, and I'm pretty sure it's played with a pic but I'm missing something.


    At about 2 minutes into the song. Sorry I couldnt find a better video.

    definitely a Delay of some sort. maybe a little bit of Chorus. sounds like a Pick to me.

    As Fishyfan noted, the bass in the bridge section of the 'Audiosurf: Johnny Truant-Dirty Vampire Feeding Frenzy' video has been treated with a DDL--likely two quick repeats which recede behind the played note.

    Is it just me, or do many of to-day's rock vocalists sound like this guy?:
