I have a nice Spector NS-94. It’s a neck thru, Korean Made with EMG HZ & EMG Pre. It plays fantastic and has a unique sound. Jazz sized nut width.

I’m looking for an alternative bass for different sounds just to change things up a bit. I could just go a grab a Squier Vintage Modified Bass, but am considering a couple of new options for near enough to the same price.

    1 - Lakland Skyline 44-01
    Very different style bass.

    2 - Sandberg Electra TT-4
    Pretty much a Jazz

    3 - Spector NS2J-CR
pretty much a Rebop with active EMG Jazz PU’s

I’ve no real direction in the bass, I think these would all be good alternatives, all priced pretty much the same. I can’t really get out to try them all, I’d have to pretty much pick one and go for it.

    Thoughts??

    Alabama !! Roll Tide
If I could afford the Lakland, I would go with that. I am not a fan of having 2 of the same style of bass
