   Looking for recommendations of electric bass teachers in the Louisville KY area. Particularly interested in slap bass, which is the main technique set eluding me. By the way, I read music, have music ed degree blah blah blah so definitely looking for someone who won't waste time. Thanks!

    I would recommend Lee Puckett or Tyrone Wheeler for electric bass. I know in particular that Tyrone slaps well... not sure about Lee, but both play great. you can get in touch with Lee at Steilberg Strings and Tyrone through Music Go Round Hurstborne. Good luck!
