Yup, that's it It is not uncommon to see these kind of basses un-branded, or as @two fingers mentioned under multiple brands. There was a time you couldn't give something like this away, but more recently there is a following building up for these 60s & 70s (Ok, and 80s too) Japanese instruments. They have a quirky look, were typically well constructed, and often have decent tone. What's the story with this one?
Yeah, lots of instruments from that era were like that. I have a guitar labeled "Old Kraftsman" that I've seen a million times labeled as a Harmony. EKOs too.
