    Hey Gang,

I'm in the mood to lift some great bass playing on a F blues (walkin' or solo). Any recommendations? Thanks!

Dave Holland, on Joe Henderson's "So Near So Far" album, the track is Pfrancing (No Blues). good slowish blues solo.

Ray Brown on "The Real Blues" from one of his live cds "Summer Wind". it starts in E, w/ groovy double stop stuff, then directly modulates to F for the blowing. nice laid back walking.

Ron Carter on the Ron Carter/Houston Person duo album "Now's The Time", on the tune of the same name.

Wow! Great Suggestions guys, thank you! If anyone else wants to chime in, please do. I'm also interested in F-Blues heads that sit well on the bass.
