Looking for inexpensive wide 5 bridges

    I like the Carvin hipshot ones and they have discontinued them. They only carry the narrow 5 bridges. Not sure why are wide 5's not popular anymore? Anybody know where to get similar ones? Thanks ...Tom

    when you say 'wide', what dimensions are you thinking of?

    17mm ... 18mm ... 19mm ... 20mm?

    Std. 19 They should be called normal spacing and the others called narrow in my opinion..t

    Isn't the Carvin/Hipshot just a Hipshot B bridge? Why not buy just from the source?

    In my book, wide is >20 and narrow <17.5.

    I see 19 all over the 'net. Whether hipshot style...yeah, "pirates" at least. I suppose a nice search would render a heap of hits.
