Guess I'm a product of my environment, but the pickup placement/selection seems backwards to me.
Is that a Curbow? It's essentially a P/J bass. The Humbucker and the P are almost the same, but I bet you can coil switch the humbucker to a single coil and have a pure jazz as well.
the headstock is tiny.
and it would look better with humbucker on bridge and jazz on neck
Yeah, its a Curbow. I don't doubt that it sounds great, but the visual is off IMO.
The visual is fine , except for the headstock.
YEAH! The headstock is BeetleJuice small...

it looks fine...
I believe Warrior uses a similar pickup configuration in some of their basses.
I don't have issues with the looks at all.
I'd expect it would play and sound great.
Pickups look correct to me. Get the humbucker mojo and a bit of extra treble near the pickup. I bet it sounds good.
And if the headstock looks stange, it also probably contributes to fewer dead spots on the neck by being so small.
but the neck pickup is a lot closer to the bridge.
I bet that Curbow sounds awesome though.
