"Looks like a Nitro Finish" - But is it?

    Thats no 62RI body. Not an american made 62RI anyway.

    AFAIK no Squier has ever been made with a Nitro finish.

    See thats exactly what i thought. I read Squier followed by Nitro and became confused because one of those things are incorrect. That black paint in the pocket stops me from seeing if its solid or plywood too... Perhaps they saw cracks, and tried to say its checking and that it means it may be nitro..

    That is not, by any stretch of the imagination, finish checking. Poly for sure.

    I think the first squiers were nitro.

    Just checked his other auctions, the seller has listed a Squier Affinity P bass neck, squier PUPs and pickguard and the hardware.. Going to say its a squier..
