How stupid are the gun control nuts in this country EVERY ONE of these shootings occurs in a GUN-FREE Zone? Or a Predator safety zone as I like to call them. Gun free zones DO NOT WORK, you have no arguments anymore. Please allow the citizens who are trained and have received CCW permits the right to protect themselves. Or at least change the name to We welcome criminals and the criminally insane, if your a law abiding citizen enter at your own risk zones. At least you'd be honest. The most dangerous places in the US are gun free zones.:meh:

Do you think a state would still prosecute a legal CCW holder who stopped a shooting spree in a gun free zone with his firearm? Here in NYS, all schools, colleges/universities are gun-free zones by law, and I'm pretty sure you can be sent to prison for violating that.

hmmm last time I checked Canada has had nowhere near the number of shooting as in the US and the whole country is a "gun free zone". Put your money where your mouth is, there could be a number of factors to these sudden number of shootings but i don't think the fact that a place in gun free or not should have much to do with it, again look at your northern neighbor.

I'll believe you when we have more shootings and attacks over here.

Plus at this incident it happened in a Church, do you expect the priest to pull out a semi-automatic from behind the alter and shoot those bad guys up?

RIP for the two killed and my condolences to the families, thats what really matters here.

It depends on the state, in the Peoples Republics of California, New York or Massachusetts, you wouldn't stand a chance. Comrade prosecutor would nail your A$* and then you'd probably get sued by the criminally insane shooter for violating his civil rights to express himself with an AK 47.:rollno:

Apples to oranges and also not what he was talking about. Nice try though, if you don't think about it too much.

Actually if you look at population densities the murder rates are really close. You have to remember Canada has a much smaller urban and suburban population then the US. Canada's worse cities would be admittedly mid pack in the US, but then if you look at their gang crime situations and drug situations there are a lot of other contributing factors to the differences in crime rates. Crime rates are much higher in immigrant and minority populations, Canada has far fewer immigrants and minorities. One thing has changed in the US in the past 15 years more private citizens have received the right to carry and 40 million more legal guns have entered the population and yet the homicide rate has fallen.

Considering he started his post with, "What's wrong with the gun control nuts in this country?", I'd say it's just what he was talking about.

  11. :rollno:How can we go from a shooting spree to gun control in 3 posts. That's faster than a Dawkins post in a religious thread.:rollno:

So in other words it doesn't make a difference if it's a gun free zone or not
