Loooper/Big Muff Question

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by The Nyamist, Mar 7, 2003.

  1. Greetings All,

So there I was...just about to purchase a Mini-3 Loooper to take the Big Muff out of my signal path, when I noticed that he now offers a "Blend Pot" option on all Looopers. Hmm...

Has anybody tried running a Big Muff or any other type of fuzz/od box in this fashion (blend of clean & fuzzed signal)? Would it sound cool? Is it worth the extra money? I already know that the Big Muff sounds killer on its own, but I was wondering if maybe the blend would add a little more "bottom" or fullness to the overall sound.

Any advice/opinions would be GREATLY appreciated.

It would be an excellent idea, since the Big Muff tends to take a lot of lows away.
  3. Thanks, Jazz Ad...

That is EXACTLY what I was looking for.
