Loopers ... drums???

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by Black 'n Tan, May 18, 2005.

  1. I see people talking about loopers here. Hey... I want some rockin drum beats to jam with ... I don't want Band in a Box or software. I want a unit that has lots of patterns built into it already. Anbody use one???

  2. what about a drum machine?
i also know the bfx708 has some drums on it too.

  3. Anybody have any drum machine recommendations?

  4. Hi

For practice purposes I use a Korg Pandora. It contains a lot of drum patterns which you can mix with amp modelling, effects etc.

Great fun, not expensive but couldn't use it live.

Just a question, why don't you play along to your CDs?

  6. That's a very good question. I'm just starting out and I am trying to play along with some of the simpler songs, but it's still a bit tough for me. One of the reasons I wanted a drum machine was so I could jam along, over and over. Plus, one of my sons is learning guitar and we could jam along together with a drum backing.

Ah ok. I remember the first song I learned was Fat Lip by Sum-41... freaking hard... :p

The BP-200 has a drum machine. I think mine just died though...
