Awesome PJ4 bass by Rob LoPrinzi. The first bass he made after leaving Sadowsky - serial number 1 (see photos). Sadowsky preamp. Nordstrand pickups. Hipshot D-Tuner. Comes with gig bag. I fell into a deal on a NYC Sadowsky I swear the day I received this bass making it expendable. It's a fantastic bass. Looks, plays and sounds great. Excellent condition. Freshly strung with a set of Sadowsky BLACK LABEL Bright Nickel Bass Strings 45-105.

Controls are standard Sadowsky: vol - blend - vintage tone - bass/treble stacked

A prior owner has this to say: "LoPrinzi #1 PJ 4 string. First bass made by Rob LoPrinzi after leaving Sadowsky. Burgundy mist over ash. matching headstock. Amazon rosewood board w dots and binding. 1.45 nut width. Similar feel to a Sadowsky Will Lee. Nordstrand PJ set, Sadowsky preamp. Hipshot reverse vintage style long stem tuners w d-tuner. Hipshot B bridge, chrome over brass. Mint pickguard. Truss rod has a wheel for adjustment like Sadowsky, Ernie Ball. Dunlop Straploks. 9lbs, 4oz. Super fast neck w super low action. Killer tone and playability over all." - I couldn't have said it better.

    Price includes shipping CONUS

    Gorgeous bass.
    Is it a poly finish?

Sounds like a Sadowsky 4 - same preamp. Looks cool & plays great, too. Had I not fallen into that deal for what is basically a MINT NYC Sadowsky right after I bought this, there's no way I'd sell this bass. It's great. But I have TWO Sadowsky NYC 4's AND this bass now, so - it really should get more playing time than I'd give it :)

Yeah, there’s no way one can go wrong here. I have number five which is also a PJ and it’s every bit as good as any Sadowsky I have owned. If this was a tad lighter, I’d grab this too. Glwts

I bought it because well - Sadowsky's are expensive. Then I had a guy trade me a MINT NYC Sadowsky 4 - like just after I got this one. I have two Sadowsky 4's and this bass now, so - only reason it's even on the market. It's a great bass.
