    all i gotta say is how good is this album, i got it last week and it hasnt come out of my car yet....the album version of heaven is so much better than the radio edit, the whole album in fact :cool: ..i got the enhanced cd version with a live video, where jojo plays his bass solo with the bass on the floor...very nice

    I stumbled across them playing with Ronnie Milsap on CMT...these 'Boys' can play. There was a 'jam' section to one of the tunes where the bass & drums took the groove off to somewhere else...eventually coming back to "1" together. What can I say, I was impressed.

    Talented young guys for sure but, the album wears out pretty fast.

    When I listen, I hear the potential for some really dynamite music but after a couple of weeks, there's just not a lot of soul there ... Wanna hear some Tejas boys spank the blues - listen to some early SRV, listen to some old Johnny Winter, then to the LLB's...

    Not to dis these guys terribly. I suspect that live they are tremendous. Not too mention that these guys are young and have a bright future ahead no doubt. There is some fine playing and singing going on. I suspect the record company was keeping them on a tight leash in the studio and what I hear is probably more a fault of the overly slick production sucking the life out of some otherwise decent songs. ...wouldn't be the first time that's happened for sure.

    I listened to this CD a bunch. I have to say IMHO, their vocals are what makes them stand out so, really very good, great presence and pitch. Their playing is very good, but not extraordinary, no disrespect intended. I like the CD a lot, professionally produced, and a band I'm in covers a couple of tunes off of it(our vocals need work :p ). I saw them live at the zoo early in the summer, and they really kicked butt, the crowd loved 'em.

    im a huge SRV fan, thats probably why i dig LLB, tommy shannon is a great guy, not to mention my fav blues bassist, he answered all my questions without being uptight or snobby

    On SRV's live 4 disc compilation, one cut, "Goin' down" was recorded live here in town and I was in attendance. It was when SRV and Jeff Beck were touring together, certainly a cosmic moment for all who were there.

    Hmmm they're really talented and all, but my problem is the album just starts to sound the "same" after I listen to it more than once.
