First off, gotta love the outfit....the medallion kicks ass! :D Near the beginning of the video, he talks about Kramer making a Louis Johnson model bass, yet I can find no information on any of these ever being made.....anyone know anything on them? Also, has anyone else with the video noticed that there are fretmarks on the strings of his bass, that are about 1/4" away from the actual frets? Louis using used strings???????

Gonna move this to General Instruction...

Oh, and it's not Kramer. It's Treker. I have one.

1-I sorta recall a story reading about Kramer doing a "Thunder Thumbs" bass...sometimes a plan gets dropped, it happens.
I'll see if I can find whatever magazine that was .

2-"Used strings"? I'm guessing he boiled 'em to get a bright poppin' tone for the video. ;)

No, I mean there were lines worn into the strings from frets, but did not line up with the frets on his bass.

    Yeah...that's what usually happens when-
1-You take the strings off the bass
    2-Boil 'em(or stick them in a closet for a year or 2)
3-Restring the bass. The fret wear will never line up to what you had previously.

    ;)
