Hello I'm SJ. Here's a little self intro about me. I been a member of Talkbass since 2006. I'm 19 and currently at the University of Auckland, in New Zealand, majoring in Jazz. I didn't expect myself to fall in love with the bass when I first decided to try one. I just walked into the local guitar shop, knew nothing about basses, and I just grabbed a bass I liked within my price range, which was a Yamaha RBX170. Only used this bass for about a year before I got GAS and bought myself a new bass a year later. I learned a lot from this forum and got lots of great advice. So thank you to everyone! ESP Edwards E-T-115BZ (See Thru Fiesta Red) Lakland Skyline 55-02 Deluxe (3 Tone Sunburst)
You neighbors probably think you're weird But those are 2 lovely basses and considering its about 32 degrees and flurrying here in St Louis I'm extremely jealous.
Yeah, that ESP/Edwards is a sweet bass! Looks like a copy of a Sadowsky! I remember being in Japan seeing alot of Edwards stuff and thinking how nice they were.
well, when i took this bass out of the parcel box for the first time and played it... i was so impressed by its sound even acoustically!!
Beautiful basses Sung! I too am jealous of your weather. Here in Michigan it's about 10 degrees and snowing!
Very recent thread. your pics would go well here: Bass Photos thread<--Clicky! Your basses are beautiful, BTW.
I'm not here so much to comment on the basses but on how jealous I am of you for living in NZ. I went to Uni at Otago and unfortunatley had to move to the states afterwards. BLAH, what I wouldn't give to go back. it's 1 degree and raining here. Misery. That lakland does look good though!
