I love a cold one on a hot day but I don’t care to get drunk - especially on a gig. What low ABV beers do y’all enjoy? Just found Guide Beer by Sweetwater and Ballast Point Lager - both clocking in around 4%. Nice.

Lagunitas Daytime is an IPA with 4% ABV and 3 carbs.

    My current favorite.

  4. I honestly like craft beers for being big and bold with their flavors and alcohol, makes me slow down on their drinking. If I want light and sessionable I tend to like the macros and some of the euro stuff for that. Maybe I'll change my tune as time goes by, I used to love hyper bitter IPAs, now I'm more into malty or more balanced types of brews.

    Maybe I'm just overthinking it.

What about a Radler/Shandy? Those are typically under 4% ABV.
A grapefruit Radler is one of my favorite alcoholic drinks on a hot day. Yeah, I know it's not all beer, but there's beer in it.

Heineken 0.0. Zero alcohol, decent taste.

Just set a limit. I have no more than two (British) pints of beer before I go on.

Not sure if it’s available outside the UK but Kernel Table Beer is usually around 3% (varies slightly by batch) and tastes great.
