    Hello,

I recently purchased a Streamer Std. and the sound is good and all, but I've noticed a low pickup output. When I plug into the mixer, I find that the pickups are very quiet and its hard to get a decent level out of them. I was just wondering if anyone else has the simliar problem or has heard of it. Or maybe its just that my is an exception. I've been thinking of pickup replacement.

Oh, and its the 2-pickup version.

    Thanks,

    Max

Yes, they do have a very weak output. The best solution would be to get an onboard pre, like the Aguilar OBP-1 or something of the like. I don't know how much pickup replacement would actually do to correct the problem; passive soapbars aren't exactly known for hot output.
