  3. Hey Sam, you could have doubled or tripled your money on EB if it had the matching cab. I love the older blond ones with the handle/ampstand. If it had the 215 like this one with JBLs it's worth more like a grand or more. No I don't own this I wish I did.

killer little bugger , and as everyone in this thread knows "low watt" does not mean low volume by any means

  8. Frenzel all tube "Tweed Deluxe" re-imagination with 67SL pre-amp tubes. I use this with my upright and I can get away without using the piezo pre-amp, in fact it sounds better and more open. As if it has a built in HPF and probably because how the bass freq is centered.Power Station to the rescue if more volume is needed. For electric, the EQ is a bit lac king and I usually use an external pre-amp, like the ART MP with a bass EQ or my tone bone. I bypass the EQ and go through the power anp in in the back

  13. Oops, guess I'm blind. Maybe you could check in bi-annually! Haha.

Hey @fretno, if those are all yours, you have the nicest collection of head cases I've seen in a long time. I used to have a Trainwreck clone in a beautiful wood case. I'll try to find the pics.

Yes. Hey me too. I had an amazing Rocket clone in a stunning shell. I actually traded it for the mahogany Mort up there. It was a killer amp though. Even great with a bass

Im looking into some low wattage tube amps. Mainly the pf50t and the ctm30/lb. What amp would win in your opinion? Not looking to overdrive that much

Tone-wise, it's two different flavors of awesome.

I owned both. I dug the sound of the LB more but the PF has more flexibility (I practiced without a cab regularly). The PF also has a more intuitive eq.

The Ashdown Little Stubby is starting to turn up. That's an option to consider if you're less cost sensitive.

The lb 30 overdrives pretty early compared to other amps that I own

i dont have access to play any locally just at the mercy of online vids. I do like that the pf can be used without a speaker. I want to run it into my power amp if i need more head room, i just want that sweet tone. So does that mean pf50t only?

Or the PF-20t. Or the Fender 100t (has a 25W mode). Or the Frenzel Mini Bassman.

That frenzel looks awesome. I had never heard of them. Does anyone have any experience with the mini bassman? The reviews on the site seemed good but everyone was using it for guitar not bass
