I’ve owned it since the mid 70’s. It had some severe water damage and needed an overhaul so I converted the normal channel to a plexi type with an extra, cascaded gain stage and revoiced caps for guitar use. Also dropped the B+ voltage so I could swap the 6L6’s for 5881’s to bring the wattage down some.
    The bass channel is still at original specs and really thumps into a bass extension cab.

  7. Whatever about gigging , a low wattage tube amp is by far the most enjoyable amp to practice at home with. It’s like the amp is revved up and really responsive at medium volumes . It’s like another musical instrument attached to your bass and not just a device to amplify sound
