The lowest tension I've played are DR Sunbeams...they have a roundcore which is the primary reason they have a little looser feel.

I thought I was committed to SIT Nickel strings until I tried Sunbeams. Perfect fit for me.

Fender 7250MLs feel pretty low tension to me.

  7. SIT Powerwounds have a hex core, and the DR SB's have a round core. There's a considerable price difference too.

  8. DR Hellborgs are pretty low. i think they are pure nickel...

They only come in a much lighter guage, but Thomastic Jazz Rounds would be my chioce, going in that direction.
