LTD jazz Vs Warmoth

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by heath_the_great, Oct 30, 2005.

  1. well, recently ive fallen in love with the LTD J-1004
and im not too keen on the price tag $2200aus, although i would pay that for it, i was keen to see what would be the best way to go, buy the ltd, or get an exact warmoth copy of it, ash body/quilt maple cap, transparent red, EMG 35-J/P4, EMG bts circuit, rear routing, maple neck, rosewood fingerboard probably a badass bridge though
  2. I would definitely go with the LTD.
You'll probably end up spending almost as much on the Warmoth once you factor in import duties and taxes etc.

Think about the resale value though! An LTD in good condition will go for much more than a Warmoth, they are extremely hard to sell and I know this from experience.
