I just won tickets to see Rush in August when they hit Dallas. I had to choose between Rush, Tool, or Incubus. I love Tool, but I think that Rush would be a better show.

Who says that radio contests don't work?
  2. You choose Rush over Incubus ??

Sorry Allodo, but he's right, rush is way better! Incubus is a good band, but Rush is an amazing band.

but...but..what about Tool? The only Rush song I can stand is YYZ because theres no singing in it,Geddys voice is so annoying. He's the one that sings right?

Ok you all got me!Hahahaha you guys are good.As much as music means alot in a band, the voice also matters alot to me. I like Dream Theater way more than Rush, the voice is ok and the music seems alot more experimental,DT's drummer rules.

    For some reason I like Davey's voice...:D

Rush is in town Friday night (28th) and I got my tix!

So, since I already have Rush tix, I guess I would've picked Tool next.

Either I haven't heard the right Incubus, or they're not a band that does it for me. Does anyone have any song recommendations to give them a proper listen-to?

oh yeah, Geddy doesn't sing on "La Villa Strangiato" either (that's the one with the Bug's Bunny factory music in the middle of the jam).

    I'd go for Rush too.

Let's see if Incubus will outlast the decade...

Allo, you're turning out to be more of an Anti doX:p

that would be a tough decision for me too, i really like all 3 bands. Ive seen incubus 2 times live though, and they suck like. I dont know what it is but they just are a horrible live band. Ive seen tool live and i think it was the best show ive ever seen. There were like 40,000 people there and they made u feel like u were the only one there

I must agree. Tool puts on a very 'intimate' show.

Tool would also be my first choice, having seen Rush and Tool before (but not Incubus).

    Congrats, stubi19! Enjoy the show!
