LUMPY JAZZ Just received Lumpy Jazz in the mail on Saturday. What a great way to ride out the snowstorm. There is some amazing playing on this CD. I know this CD has been out for a while but man it's great! Berlin is the man! Strong tunes, great tone and all on 4 strings.

    Awful title!!

Reminds me of the Bonzo Dog Doo Dah Band tune :

"Jazz : Delicious Hot, Disgusting Cold" !!! ;)

From an interview with Jeff - it's a response to the term "Smooth Jazz" - which is what Kenny G and his ilk are referred to in the States.

    Still blows.

For the record - I hate when songs, bands, albums are named after the genre of music they're supposed to be playing.

So... maybe, that title I mentioned, could be "updated" :

"Jazz : Disgusting Smooth, Delicious Lumpy!!" ? ;)
