can anyone here tell me the string spacing at the bridge, body thickness and lower bout across at its widest spot? the luna page for this bass is packed with info, but none of it's that info.

i just phoned luna. brad in guitars says they don't give him that information, so if someone here know the string spacing and the rest, please post it.

:D i don't know why "brad" (+ a plastic ruler) couldn't measure those himself --- you know: to make a sale....

They have strict social distancing policy between guitar sales staff and bass sales staff. Something about preventing the gene pool from being diluted.

I'm sure it's because they're just a distributor for a Chinese manufacturer that puts the Luna label on the bass, so they don't have any open box on hand because they're drop shipped then moved on. I actually took the image from the web site and put it in my graphic design software on my Mac at full scale, but it was not accurate enough to be sure of the measurements.

so did i, but i'm guessing that the offices don't have access to the warehouse. had i owned luna, there's be one of every bass and guitar in the offices so my sales staff would have access and get to know them all.

i believe brad is both guitars AND basses...

ABM 4 string bridges are 19mm with a little wiggle room. But ABM Style? Let's say 19mm.
Once they ship it here the metric system no longer applies.

I wonder if it's the same Brad who used to work at All American Burger?

I like their stuff. Wish they did one of those in guitar/sub short scale.

    I like 5, 8, 10, and 12 string basses
that bass should have more low end than the Fender p-bass

@pcake, I saw this guy's review on Youtube.

If you scroll down to the 5th comment down, somebody asks about the size of the body, and the reviewer says it seems to be about the same size as a standard P or J bass. Not precise, but ballpark. I don't know if that's helpful or not, but thought I'd mention it. Good luck in your search for info.

    it's very helpful, thanks!

i find a standard P or J painful to play for extended periods, so i guess i can rule this one out.

    Canada, Eh!
I found a pretty flat-on highres pic on the web, scaled it in Corel on my 30.0 inch template, and get this:

string spacing at the bridge, 17.6 mm
lower bout across at its widest spot 11.7 inches
    (body length 19.0 inches)
parallelax is always a problem with guitar photos, but this pic was very close to flat on.
The nut width came to 41mm on the same drawing (matches the spec...)
