Considering it the (way long term) future...What are the costs and time requirements I am looking at?

FYI i just want to do it for personal please, possible some small repairs or something, nothing big.

    Thanks

  2. I just searched the Web for places and the curriculum seems to be focused on guitars (sometimes bolt-ons, sometimes classical, but always guitars). A bass-building school, now that would be worthwhile.

  3. while i worked for lakland basses, there were a couple of guys that worked there that went to roberto-venn school of luthery. i think that their curicullum tends to lean toward guitar making, but once you have the theory, it can certainly be applied towards basses. Check out their website.
