luthite bodies

    hey i play a luthite bass and im wondering if someone could explain some of the differences between luthite and wood. thanks

    Well, do a search. It's been coverd many times before.

    Search title only in Basses(BG) and you'll find a wealth of info.

    Luthite is synthetic material similar to plastic.
  4. Luthite & Wood both come out of the ground.

    Luthite, being made from petrochemical derivatives is pumped out of the ground.

    Wood comes from trees that are grown in the ground.
