You so totally can't be Michael Manring.

If you are, I appologize. You may remember me coming to you clinic around here in Doylestown PA about 3 months ago. I brought my daughter. My wife wouldn't go for the idea of buying her the Zon and using it until she's big enough.

I should have married someone dumber.

  3. Michael,

Thanks for the heads up! I encourage anyone and everyone in the Seattle area to check it out. I caught one of your clinics years ago at Berklee and it was nothing short of incredible. We all miss you dearly here at Talkbass. Good to hear from you again!

(PS I'm going to move this out of the basses forum so it doesn't get lost in gear talk. I'll send it to 'Miscellaneous', and it may spread over to 'Bassists' as well. :))

  4. Yep, that's him! He used to have a forum here, but had to leave due to obligations with BP.

    Hey, Michael.:)

    Nice to hear from you.

Any idea when you might have a clinic in the Dallas area?

Man I wish I was in Portland now so I could go to that.

I wish livestock could play bass, then Wyoming would have a lot of clinics. :D

That would be worth a trip south of the border. I hope I don't get arrested while crossing.

Thanks for your enthusiasm, guys! I look forward to saying hello to those of you who can make it to the clinic.

I'll try to get back to Dallas soon, Jeff. Getting a gig in Wyoming is a little tougher though, Melvin!

Hi ZuluFunk. Keep trying to convince your wife. In fact, maybe you should get a Zon for her, too!

    All the best,
    Michael

    hey Michael!

do you have plans to come down to Mexico?

    i have to guess you don´t... :(

there's a little following from some of my bassist friends but i guess there is not enough fans over here to make a gig down here... i guess i have to wait and go to US to go see you and some other artists...

  15. Will you have any clinics in North Carolina in the near/far future?

How long are you going to be in town, Michael? It would be pretty cool to take a trip down to Bass Northwest, and play a couple of the basses there, and maybe get your picture taken with them! Cool stuff for their wall, I'm sure! :D
