mackie power amps???

Ok a guy wants to sell me his mackie 1200I power amp, he says its just like the 1400 I just 1200 watts @ 4 ohms, he wants 400 for it. I cant find this amp anywhere, I was hoping the good people at TB could help me out. and for price wise, The 1400 has been selling on ebay in the 250-300 mark so I think his out of his range for price. and if anyone knows How does this amp compare with what else is in the same market sector, and has anyone here had experience with it. thanks TB
