The subs are sold. How about $1,100 for the pair of SR 1530s? These are really bitchen sounding mains for small to medium venues. I've used them outdoors to 300 people. They are fantastic in clubs.

If you're looking for a superb sounding PA ready to go (all you need is a board), this is it. The acclaimed SR 1530s are a 15-inch, 3-way, internally tri-amped, 500-watt (per cabinet)system. They are 44 inches tall and weigh 100 pounds each.

These are in excellent condition and in perfect working order. Although I reside in Groom Lake, NV, these would best be picked up by you in San Diego, CA, or we can meet somewhere in southern California. I will not ship them unless you pay $1,100 plus shipping. I don't have any pics of them right now, but they look like this:

We use some of these, plus the 2x15 versions, and they really are great PA speakers if you don't need to use a billion watts with a poweramp setup. Especially when you add the powered dual 18" subs they have under them... Not a bad sounding FOH setup!

Nope. But then again, I never overdrive them.

Mike, what subs do you use with your 1530's? In your opinion do you need subs with the 1530's for a medium loud rock band?
